PCB Assembler

Summary

Preparing and hand insertion of electronic components into PCB assembly. Reports to Manufacturing Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Read and follow standard Assembly Process Instructions (APIs)
  • Use hand and power tools such as cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and scopes
  • Light mechanical assembly and press fit
  • Accurately cut/trim/form component leads using hand cutters and forming tools
  • Installation of through-hole components into PCB assembly
  • Identify and apply very small components in very small spaces without damaging adjacent parts
  • Applying and removal of masking
  • Depanelizing PCB assemblies
  • Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • IPC Certification preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to read instructions in English

Shift

  • Monday – Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm)
  • Overtime availability required after 3:30 pm and Saturday mornings
