Summary
Preparing and hand insertion of electronic components into PCB assembly. Reports to Manufacturing Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Read and follow standard Assembly Process Instructions (APIs)
- Use hand and power tools such as cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and scopes
- Light mechanical assembly and press fit
- Accurately cut/trim/form component leads using hand cutters and forming tools
- Installation of through-hole components into PCB assembly
- Identify and apply very small components in very small spaces without damaging adjacent parts
- Applying and removal of masking
- Depanelizing PCB assemblies
- Keep work environment clean, safe and orderly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- IPC Certification preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred, but not required
- Must be able to read instructions in English
Shift
- Monday – Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm)
- Overtime availability required after 3:30 pm and Saturday mornings
